The report at the conference showed that in the first 6 months of 2025, the Red Cross Society at all levels of Chuong My district has implemented many practical activities, providing timely support to those in difficult circumstances.
Notably, in the "Charitable Tet" movement of the year of the Snake, the Red Cross Association of Chuong My district at all levels mobilized and presented 3,336 gifts to poor households, Agent Orange victims, lonely elderly people and students who overcame difficulties to study well, with a total value of more than 2.1 billion VND.
During the "Humanitarian Month" in 2025, the Association at all levels mobilized and presented 1,389 gifts, worth a total of 456.7 million VND, to disadvantaged people on the right occasion and to the right people.
Along with humanitarian aid activities, the “Voluntary Blood Donation” movement is also a bright spot. In the first 6 months of the year, the district successfully organized many blood donation campaigns, receiving 2,051 units of blood, contributing to timely supplementing blood sources for emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities…
Speaking at the conference, President of the Tien Phuong Commune Red Cross Society, Do Thi Luong, said: “We have promoted our core role in humanitarian activities, being a reliable bridge between kind-hearted people and those in need of help…”.
At the conference, Vice President of Hanoi Red Cross Society Duong Thi Hang and Permanent Vice Chairman of Chuong My District People's Committee Bui Manh Thang highly appreciated the results of the district Red Cross Society in the past time and hoped that in the new era, members of the district Red Cross Society will continue to promote the role of arousing, connecting and spreading kindness in the community after moving to the new administrative unit...
On this occasion, the Red Cross Society of Chuong My district awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the "Humanitarian Month" in 2025; and presented 30 gifts to children in difficult circumstances.
