On May 17, in Hanoi , the Family Day event and the launch of the reality TV show "Dad, where are we going?" 2025 took place. The program was produced by the Department of Culture and Entertainment (VTV3), Vietnam Television in coordination with TV Hub Company, and will be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. every Monday on VTV3, starting from May 19, 2025.
Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Nguyen Nam, the program director, shared: The hustle and bustle of modern life and the explosion of technology have gradually made the gap between generations in the family more obvious. Many children grow up with computers, phones, and televisions more than with nature, so they lack valuable real-life experiences... That is why "Dad, where are we going?" returns to bring exciting journeys of discovery between fathers and children.
Carrying the message “A wonderful summer for father and son”, “Dad, where are we going?” 2025 is an invitation for families to get away from the screen and go outside to create memorable childhood memories. There is nature, culture, beautiful stories and above all, family affection that is increasingly strong.

The organizers said that the destinations in this year’s program were carefully selected, representing the diverse picture of Vietnamese nature and culture. There, father-son pairs will embark on adventures, pitch tents, fish, cook, etc. and listen to and share emotions that are rarely expressed in daily life.
In addition, the journey also opens the “door” for father-son pairs to approach the beauty of local culture, from customs, habits to daily life. Through that, the program contributes to promoting the beauty of the country and promoting local tourism development.
Participating in the program "Dad, where are we going?" 2025 is the appearance of three father and son pairs:
The first father-daughter pair is actor Trung Ruoi - who is loved by the audience for his humorous and charming acting in "Tao Quan" and a series of famous comedy series such as: "Mo Lang", "Lang e vo", "Kem Xoi"... with his daughter, little Dua (Bao An, 4 years old). Actor Trung Ruoi considers this an interesting "summer camp" experience for the two of them. He said that when he came to the program, he did not have high expectations, he simply wanted to give his child a meaningful summer, something that his busy daily work schedule could hardly allow.

The second father-son pair is actor Duy Hung and his son Bean (Duc Anh, 4 years old). Duy Hung is known for his thorny roles in TV series: "Nguoi phan xu", "Quynh bup be", "Me cung", "Mua hoa tim lai", "Gara hanh phuc", "Nguoi mot nha"... In 2024, he won the "Golden Kite" award for best actor in a TV series, with the male lead role in the movie "Nguoi mot nha".
For Duy Hung, participating in the journey “Dad, where are we going?” 2025 is not to help his son become a better person, but to become a kinder person, knowing how to share, sympathize and be strong when facing challenges. He also wants his son to understand that, no matter where he goes or what he does, his father is always a silent companion by his side.
The third father-daughter pair is director Neko Le (real name Le Truong Son) accompanied by two adorable daughters: baby Audi (Ngoc Kim, 6 years old) and baby Cati (Kim Ngan, 4 years old). As the director behind the success of many "million view" web-dramas such as "Thach Sanh Ly Thanh", "Tam Sac Tam", "Nam Phi Lien Hoan Ke"..., but Neko Le's name is most widely noticed after the program "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", where he expressed his own personality as a director and rapper.
Neko Le said that what motivated him to join the program was the desire to create a beautiful childhood memory for his children, something that when they grow up, all three of them can look back on with pride and emotion.

In addition to the three official father-son pairs that will travel throughout the stages, each journey of the program will welcome additional guest father-son artist pairs to bring interesting surprises, together spreading the message of family affection and the beautiful values of the journey of father-son bonding.
Unlike previous seasons, “Dad, Where Are We Going?” 2025 kicks off with the “Apprenticeship Journey” series, giving father-son pairs who are loved by many audiences on social networks the opportunity to participate in the program. “Apprenticeship Journey” is a special one-day challenge where father-son pairs overcome unexpected tasks together, testing their ability to accompany and cope when their mother is absent. This is an important stepping stone to select the two most suitable father-son pairs to enter the official journey of the program, joining the artist father-son pairs.
At the end of the "Apprenticeship Journey", the official list includes little MinHee - the 4-year-old "little interpreter" with her father Trung; and little Minh Khoi - the 6-year-old "car encyclopedia", son of father Thai Hoa.
Another interesting highlight of this year's broadcast season is the appearance of a "dad trainee". This is a famous male artist, loved by a large number of young audiences, but has never had experience taking care of young children in daily life. For the first time, this artist will have to take on the role of a father himself: cooking, playing, comforting, cleaning and accompanying the children throughout the journey of experience.
With many new features, "Dad, where are we going?" 2025 promises to bring many surprises and interesting things to the audience watching the show.
