Simultaneously launched environmental sanitation campaign, giving gifts to poor students

HNN.VN - On the morning of July 19, the People's Committee of Loc An commune coordinated with the Youth Union of Hue College and other units to launch the movement "Green Sunday", "Sunday for the community", and launch the 2025 summer youth volunteer campaign with the theme "Green for children".

Youth Union members clean up the environment

At the program, more than 300 cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers, members, youth union members and local people joined forces to clean up the environment on National Highway 1A from the Commune People's Committee to Da Bac bridge in Bach Thach village.

The units also collect waste in residential areas and markets, and at the same time propagate and mobilize people to raise awareness of environmental protection.

On this occasion, Huyen Trang TAC Charity Organization presented 45 gifts to students in difficult circumstances (orphans) in the communes of the old Phu Loc district, each gift worth 500,000 VND. In addition, Hue College Youth Union presented 20 gifts including school supplies (worth 300 VND/gift) to poor students.
