In Hue City, the flood caused 5 houses to collapse completely and 9 houses to be damaged; of which 3 houses in Khe Tre commune collapsed completely and 7 houses were damaged and needed to be repaired. In addition, 91 households in Khe Tre commune suffered from landslides and were at risk of landslides and needed to be urgently evacuated due to landslides reaching the foundation and production garden.

To overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters, the Prime Minister launched the "Quang Trung Campaign" with the spirit of: "Speed ​​- Boldness - Efficiency"; racing against time to bring a safe home to the people during the stormy season so that they can celebrate a "Reunion Tet" in their new home.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh emphasized: Implementing the Prime Minister's telegram, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City determined this to be a key and urgent political task. We are not only building houses with bricks, stones, and cement, but we are rebuilding trust, lighting up hope, and affirming the spirit of "Leaving no one behind".

In order for the "Quang Trung Campaign" to quickly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were severely damaged by recent natural disasters in Hue city to be successful, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh requested the Department of Construction to support house models that are suitable to local customs and cultural traditions so that people can proactively choose; ensure that the houses built in this campaign must ensure "3 hard" (hard foundation, hard frame, hard roof), and must be the safest shelter for people when natural disasters strike.

Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, Party Central Committee member, City Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung and the working delegation inspected a number of landslides and severely damaged areas in Khe Tre commune.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung directed the City People's Committee, Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment and related units to urgently coordinate with Khe Tre commune authorities to survey and assess the current status of landslide areas, damaged works, and changes in the flow of streams to find optimal solutions, quickly overcome and bring people's activities back to normal.

In the immediate future, quickly allocate resources to reinforce the Leno Bridge and Da Phu Bridge (which are being severely eroded and isolated) to serve the travel needs of Khe Tre Commune residents. In the long term, it is necessary to allocate reasonable funding to repair these bridges to serve the travel needs of the people.

According to the plan, from December 6 to 31, 2025, 70 officers and soldiers of the City Military Command will carry out the "Quang Trung Campaign", quickly helping people build and repair houses damaged after the historic floods that occurred in the area; join the locality in building and repairing a number of civil works; public works in Khe Tre commune. At the same time, they will carry out a number of works and tasks, and carry out field trips to do mass mobilization work.

Thereby, demonstrating the role of the armed forces in supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, strengthening military-civilian solidarity, promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new situation.
