Building "Great Unity" houses and repairing houses for meritorious people in Phu Loc

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of December 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hue city coordinated with the VFF Committee of Phu Loc commune to organize a groundbreaking ceremony to build a "Great Unity" house for the family of Ms. Le Thi Tinh (Mui Ne village, Phu Loc commune).

Mrs. Le Thi Tinh's family is in a particularly difficult situation. Mrs. Tinh works as a construction worker to support her 3 children and is often sick. The family is having difficulty with housing.

The house was built in the structure of a level 4 house, with brick walls and corrugated iron roof, with an area of ​​60 square meters, with a total construction cost of about 120 million VND, of which the Hue City Fund Mobilization Committee for the Poor supported 60 million VND; a part of the family's expenses and local forces supported working days.

In addition to starting the construction of the “Great Unity” house for Ms. Tinh’s family, on this occasion, the People’s Committee of Phu Loc commune will also start repairing two houses for meritorious people in the area on December 3. That is the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang, a war invalid with less than 81% in Mui Ne village and the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh, a war invalid with less than 81% in village 7.

Each house to be repaired will receive VND30 million from the sponsorship of the Vietnam Nursing Magazine, the Vietnam College of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, and the College of Foreign Languages, Technology and Communications. In addition to the house repair costs, the units will also provide a sum of money for the two families to purchase essential items. The house repair plan is expected to be completed before the Lunar New Year 2026.
