Nguyen Phu Trung Anh (Tran Phu High School, Lam Dong ) and his father traveled a long distance from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City to attend Welcome Day 2025.
When applying for admission to the Film and Television Technology major, Trung Anh received full support from his family, even though this is not a major with a family tradition.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Kien, Anh's father, said that when he heard his son express his passion for the Film and Television Technology industry at Van Lang, he fully supported him. He just hopes that his son will study in the right place he likes and succeed on the path he has chosen.

“My belief was further strengthened when I directly experienced the Van Lang environment, from the educational philosophy to the way the school welcomed my father and son very thoughtfully, enthusiastically and respectfully. I think my son's decision was absolutely correct," he said.
Not only accompanying them spiritually, many parents come to Welcome Day with the mindset of those who choose schools with their children by asking deeply, listening carefully, and having frank dialogue with the lecturers. Questions related to the training program, career outcomes, internship opportunities, tuition fees, professional certificates, etc. are asked directly by parents to the consulting board and the teaching staff.
Many parents with expertise in the industry also came to verify the quality of training. As a dental technician, Mr. Pham Minh Khiet knew that many lecturers at Van Lang were leading experts in the field of Implant. He also highly appreciated the school's modern and synchronous facilities, which are qualified for systematic training.
“This is a reasonable choice if your child pursues this career. Choosing Van Lang is a continuation of professional faith in the next generation, on the foundation of quality education, where the future path is shaped by practical and solid values,” said Mr. Khiet.

“I know that Van Lang University invests heavily in modern facilities and curriculum, updated with schools with advanced education. When choosing a school for my child, what I care about most is the quality of training along with respect for my child’s interests. Besides, I pay a lot of attention to the cost of education, hoping that the curriculum and facilities are really complete, worthy of the cost,” the mother confided.
For Ms. Anh, choosing Van Lang is a harmonious combination of parents' expectations and her child's future orientation.
At the consulting areas for majors such as Tourism , Arts, Architecture, Technology - Engineering, Law - Business and Management, Social Sciences - Languages, Communications, Design... parents and candidates can directly exchange with lecturers and admissions specialists, with questions revolving around training programs, career outcomes, internships, English courses, special training programs, international links as well as student learning conditions.

“Khoa’s father doesn’t usually attend crowded events, but today he took the initiative to come to school. The family was reassured to see with their own eyes a spacious, thoughtful school full of positive energy,” said Khoa’s mother.
As a veteran in the film industry, having collaborated with Van Lang University students on television projects, Mr. Ray Nguyen, whose child is applying for the Multimedia Communications major, believes that Van Lang is a suitable environment for his child to develop with modern facilities and many opportunities for students to gain practical experience and demonstrate their abilities.
