Program "Border Spring warms the hearts of the villagers" Lunar New Year At Ty

On January 10, in Xy commune, Huong Hoa district, the Border Guard of Quang Tri province organized the program "Border Guard Spring warms the hearts of the villagers" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty - 2025. With the desire to join hands to support people in border areas to prepare for a warm, joyful and happy Tet, the Border Guard of Quang Tri province coordinated with local Party committees, authorities and benefactors to organize the program "Spring Border Guard warms the hearts of the villagers" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty with many meaningful activities such as: donating 2 classrooms worth 350 million VND to A Xing Primary and Secondary School; donating 1 "Border Warm House" house worth 50 million VND to Mr. Ho Van De's family, a household with especially difficult circumstances in Thanh 1 village, Thanh commune; organizing "Zero-dong stalls"; organizing gift giving, medical examination and medicine distribution, making banh chung and folk games, cultural and artistic activities.

The program also gave away over 1,000 gifts including rice, jam, candy, instant noodles and 1,400 banh chung to policy households and those in especially difficult circumstances in Xy and Thanh communes; gave away 200 gifts to people in border villages of Laos. Coordinated medical examinations for 500 people in Xy commune and villages of Laos. The total cost of the program was nearly 1 billion VND.

This is an annual activity, showing the gratitude of officers and soldiers of the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard to the people in the border area who have loved, protected, and fought side by side with the Border Guard force in managing and protecting the territorial sovereignty and border security of the Fatherland.

It is known that the program "Border Spring warms the hearts of the villagers" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty was simultaneously organized by units of the Border Guard of Quang Tri province in the border areas, creating an exciting atmosphere among the people when spring comes.
