Commune officials receive and process administrative procedures for citizens.
In the coming period, Ca Mau will direct specialized agencies to review and develop investment projects for 7 projects to digitize and organize archival documents in the 2025-2030 period, with a total of nearly 32 km of documents and an estimated cost of approximately 532 billion VND.
Synchronized administrative procedure processing system
The Provincial Public Administration Service Center operates the Information System for Resolving Administrative Procedures. All administrative procedures have been fully updated and synchronized with the national database. To date, 1,794 accounts have been issued to civil servants at the provincial and commune-level One-Stop Service Centers, of which 584 accounts have the function of searching for population data. Since the implementation of the two-tiered local government system, the province has received approximately 88,500 applications, including 7,600 at the provincial level. All applications are synchronized with the National Public Service Portal. Thanks to the efforts of many units, Ca Mau currently ranks 6th nationwide in the rate of online applications and payments.
The administrative procedures processing system has been approved at level 3 for information security. All computers at the One-Stop Service Center are equipped with anti-malware software, ensuring data security.
Public officials are determined to expedite administrative procedures for citizens.
Ca Mau also complies with Plan 02 of the Central Steering Committee on the operation of two-tiered local government, utilizing the Data Center along with five essential information platforms: the document management and operational system; the provincial administrative procedure resolution system; the provincial electronic information portal; the official email system; the national document exchange platform; and the intra-provincial document exchange platform (LGSP). All communes and wards have established LAN networks to connect and utilize shared software and systems.
In addition, the province issued 668 new digital signatures, renewed or changed information for 3,145 digital signatures, and restored 138 devices storing private keys. Currently, nearly 9,000 digital signatures are active in the province. According to the assessment of the Standing Agency of the Central Steering Committee, Ca Mau has ensured the basic conditions for operating a two-tiered local government.
In the coming period, the province will invest in expanding the Public Administrative Service Center, gradually build a synchronized public asset database, and continue to promote the management, storage, and digitization of documents.
Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized: "Prioritize investment in equipment and information technology for the commune level; focus on applying technology and digital transformation in handling work, ensuring the smooth operation of the system."
