Technology to reduce pressure on facilities

On the morning of September 15th, Mr. Lam Van Bi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated: "From today, the reporting software implemented by the Provincial People's Committee Office is officially put into operation. This is expected to significantly reduce the pressure on communes and wards, in line with the directives of the Provincial People's Committee, and is also an important step in the operation of the two-tiered local government system in Ca Mau ."

Ca Mau prioritizes investment in IT equipment for commune-level authorities.

From July 1st, 2025 onwards, information technology will also be strongly applied in organizing conferences and meetings. Provincial leaders regularly chair online meetings with 64 communes and wards to promptly grasp the situation, check the progress of task implementation, and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process at the grassroots level.

In terms of facilities and equipment, the situation is relatively stable, making maximum use of existing resources while also allocating additional budget to purchase what is lacking, creating favorable conditions for officials and employees to work.

In the development of e-government , moving towards digital government, the province is promoting the digitization of documents. To date, nearly 4.2 million pages of documents have been digitized, with a capacity of approximately 5TB; metadata has been entered for 29,740 files and 260,174 archived documents. Currently, the Provincial Historical Archives Center manages 4,500 m³ of processed documents and over 26,200 m³ of backlog documents. Documents from the commune level have been received and preserved in separate archives.
