Recognizing that digital transformation is an inevitable trend in the current period, the Women's Union of Tuyen Thanh commune has chosen "Innovating the Union's operational methods, focusing on the application of information technology" as its breakthrough area for the 2025-2030 term. Based on this orientation, many innovative models and approaches have been implemented synchronously, contributing to improving the Union's effectiveness and increasing its ability to connect with members and women in the area.
To date, 100% of the Association's officials, branch chairmen, branch vice-chairmen, group leaders, and group vice-chairmen have received training and instruction on applying information technology in Association work. Social media platforms such as Zalo and Facebook are effectively utilized to transmit information, implement tasks, and connect members quickly and synchronously.
According to Tran Thi Thien, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Thanh commune and Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Tuyen Thanh commune: "Since applying information technology, information about the Union's activities has been transmitted faster, and members have more convenient access, especially young women and women working far from home." To create widespread dissemination, the Women's Union of Tuyen Thanh commune has established the information page "Women's Union of Tuyen Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province," and effectively maintains models of women applying information technology - digital transformation , Zalo groups connecting members , and applying information technology in Union activities .
Through Zalo and Facebook groups, Association officials regularly share information for propaganda purposes, update on new policies and guidelines, and exchange professional knowledge on Association work, member management, and statistical reporting.
Meanwhile, in Duc Lap commune, the digital transformation movement is being strongly implemented by the Women's Union and has seen many positive results. The application of digital technology not only helps officials and members of the Women's Union access practical knowledge and skills in modern digital life but also contributes significantly to building a stronger and more effective Women's Union organization.
Recently, the Women's Union of Duc Lap commune launched the model of the Women's Union Branch No. 1. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Kieu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Duc Lap commune, said: “The model of the Women's Union Branch No. 1 is a concrete activity to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the nation.”
Beyond mere propaganda, the model also promotes training and equips officials and members with digital skills; deploys the use of digital platforms in membership management and association operations; and encourages members to participate in online public services, electronic payments, and access e-commerce to improve family economic efficiency.
The application of information technology and digital transformation by Women's Union branches at all levels in the province has been implemented flexibly, creating positive changes in the Union's activities and women's movements, helping the Union to quickly and effectively carry out its tasks with high dissemination, contributing to building a strong Union.
