After 5 years of absence, Khac Viet revealed for the first time the reason why he temporarily left the spotlight.

Sharing with VTC News Electronic Newspaper reporter, Khac Viet said the reason he "went into hiding" did not come from fading passion, but was his own decision.

"In the past 5 years, I have spent more time with my family and children. It's not that my feelings for the profession have faded, but I believe that every artist will have a period of "recharging" inspiration through their own life.

During that time, I still composed, still observed, still kept my feelings about love, about family affection - so that when I return, I can bring something profound, calm and true to what the audience expects from Khac Viet ," the male singer said.

Talking about his decision to return after a long time, Khac Viet said: "There is no perfect time to come back - only the time when you feel truly ready. Right now, I have reached that time," Khac Viet said frankly.

The male singer said he has no intention of “innovating to be different” in a time when music is becoming increasingly competitive. Instead, he chose to return with what he is best at – ballads that tell stories of life, people, and love with mature and deep emotions.

MV Nguyen Lam is a gentle ballad, inspired by real-life love stories, from himself, his relatives and friends. He calls this the most "real" song he has ever written.

“In the past, when people remembered Khac Viet, they remembered separations and unfulfilled love affairs. Now, I want to spread something brighter and more positive. I will do it – not only to the person I love, but also to my audience.”

With Nguyen Lam, Khac Viet marks an important transition – from sad love songs to a more positive attitude towards life and writing. The MV not only tells a love story, but also incorporates a profound message about companionship, respect and understanding – seemingly simple things that modern life sometimes makes us forget.
