Kewin Charron - an expert in refurbishing old phones said that most users are silently destroying their batteries because of bad habits. One of them is forgetting to clean the charging port, causing dirt to accumulate and disrupt the electrical flow.
Dust can also cause your phone to overheat, causing long-term damage to the battery. Charron recommends using a wooden toothpick or SIM ejector pin to gently clean the charging port periodically.
The habit of charging 100% overnight or letting the battery run out is also the cause of premature battery failure. Experts recommend keeping your battery at 20–80% to prolong the life of your device. Besides, phone batteries are very sensitive to high and low temperatures, especially when charging.
Users should avoid leaving the device in the sun, and should stop charging immediately if the device shows signs of overheating. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Top 10 'Scary' Technology Devices of the Future.
