For the first time, a group of Can Tho students successfully developed a digital communication kit, supporting 4-star OCOP standard businesses to promote their products and develop sustainable agricultural tourism from the perspective of young people in the West.

On March 20, at Ngoc Thanh Farm (Chau Thanh district, Hau Giang province), a handover ceremony of the communication kit took place - a digital communication project supporting 4-star OCOP (one commune one product) enterprises towards sustainable agricultural tourism .

The kit includes videos, articles, images, digital communication plans..., expected to help businesses reach customers more effectively.

This is the graduation thesis topic of students Nguyen Ngoc Mai, Nguyen An Thy, Ngo My Anh, Tran My Tam, Ho Hong Bao Ngan majoring in multimedia communications (FPT University Can Tho).

After a field survey, the group found that many 4-star OCOP businesses have a need to develop sustainable agricultural tourism to bring products closer to domestic and foreign customers.

Student representative Ngo My Anh said: "The digital communication kit helps solve the problem of increasing brand awareness, enhancing the competitiveness of 4-star OCOP products in the Mekong Delta region, and at the same time saving communication costs for businesses."

The kit is suitable for 4-star OCOP businesses in the fields of agricultural production, food processing, handicrafts... This solution builds and manages business promotion, 4-star OCOP products on a digital technology platform, optimizes content and images, uses social networks and digital advertising campaigns to reach customers quickly and effectively.

Specifically, the group will design publications for businesses to supplement their brand identity, such as product images, directions, zoning boards, etc., so that visitors can easily search and increase access, especially on popular social networking platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, TikTok, etc.

MSc. Pham Viet Ngoan - lecturer at FPT University Can Tho - said that the students' thesis topics are practical, applying learned knowledge and creativity to reality.

"The experiences from this project will be a solid foundation for the future. Moreover, the skills of working independently, working in groups, and creative thinking are also trained when you work together to complete the thesis.

The transfer of the communication kit marks the beginning of a communication project to support businesses achieving a 4-star OCOP rating towards sustainable agricultural tourism," said Ms. Viet Ngoan.
