Fabregas' club plays big

The Serie A team continues to stir up the transfer market with a new target named Davinson Sanchez - an experienced central defender of Galatasaray.

Far from being timid as a newly promoted team, Como has shown serious ambitions for Serie A in the 2025/26 season. However, Fabregas is not ready to stop. The next target has been identified as Davinson Sanchez - a 29-year-old centre-back currently playing for Galatasaray. The Colombian player has an impressive resume with years playing for Ajax and Tottenham, along with more than 50 appearances for the national team. He is considered the perfect piece for Como's defence thanks to his experience, bravery and organisational ability.

Sanchez is currently contracted to Galatasaray until 2027, but negotiations for a new deal are stalled. That's where Como comes in. The starting price for negotiations is said to be around 20 million euros - a figure that is completely within the blue team's ability to pay.

With his future in Türkiye uncertain, Sanchez is also said to be ready to take on the challenge of Serie A - a league he has never experienced before. If the deal goes through, it would be a landmark signing for Como's ambitions to stay - and even thrive - in his first season back in Italy's top flight.

The coming days promise to be very hot for the transfer board at Como. Fabregas has a potential squad, and if he adds a leader in defense like Davinson Sanchez, Como's fairy tale in Serie A could be even more attractive.
