Ho Chi Minh Flycam Club summarizes the term 2020-2025 and orientation 2025-2030

(NADS) - On January 5, Ho Chi Minh City Flycam Club (formerly known as the Air Photo Club), under the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, held a summary report for the 2020-2025 term and announced the direction of activities for the 2025-2030 term. Attending were Journalist Thai Son - Head of the Southern Representative Office of Photography & Life Association and Artist Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association.

The club was established on January 1, 2022, initially with 29 members, chaired by NSNA Giang Son Dong. During its tenure, the club has organized many meaningful activities such as: Launching the first photo exhibition with 84 flycam works on January 1, 2022; Organizing creative trips and participating in international photography fairs, bringing many achievements, notably more than 200 domestic and international awards; Supporting members to apply for flycam flying licenses and handling problems related to legal regulations.

Despite its young age, the club has won more than 200 domestic and international awards. Among them are some outstanding individuals such as: NSNA Nguyen Trang Kim Cuong (121 awards), NSNA Ngo Thi Thu Ba (75 awards), Hoang Bich Nhung, Thach Minh Le, and many other members.

The Club has received certificates of merit from the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association and international organizations, recognizing its outstanding contributions in the fields of art and communication.

In addition, the Club also faces many challenges, especially in complying with regulations on flight safety and flight licensing according to Decree 36/2008/ND-CP and Decision 18/2020/QD-TTg.

Orientation for the term 2025 - 2030, the Club officially changed its name to "Ho Chi Minh Flycam Club" and determined to continue creating artistic and press photos, while promoting professional work such as:

Improve photo processing skills and share creative experiences among members; Actively participate in domestic and international competitions; Strengthen the Executive Board and strengthen connections among members.

During the Congress, the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term was elected, including: Ms. Nguyen Trang Kim Cuong as Club President, 02 Deputy Directors are Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan and Mr. Le Nguyen Huy.

Opening of photo exhibition

Also within the framework of the closing ceremony, the Club opened a photo exhibition with typical works, attracting a large number of visitors. The exhibition is not only an opportunity to introduce the beauty of art from a high perspective, but also affirms the Club's pioneering position in the field of drone photography.
