This is not just a simple victory, but also a brilliant mark on the day the team officially lifted the 2024-2025 National First Division Championship trophy.
Under the enthusiastic cheers of the home crowd, coach Nguyen Viet Thang and his team performed overwhelmingly. The goals were scored by Do Thanh Thinh (minute 39) and a double by Le Minh Binh (minute 65 and minute 90), in which captain Nguyen Hoang Duc left his mark with a classy assist.
Right after the final whistle, the coronation ceremony was held solemnly amidst a sea of flags and endless applause. This was the first time Phu Dong Ninh Binh won the First Division championship and won the right to play in the V.League next season.
In the 2024-2025 First Division, coach Nguyen Viet Thang's team maintained impressive form by winning 18 matches, drawing 1 and not losing any matches since the beginning of the season.
In the final match of the season, Phu Dong Ninh Binh will face Dong Thap on June 21.
