It is known that all the personnel of Quang Nam Club will be transferred to SHB Da Nang Club. In the near future, SHB Da Nang Club will also restructure to select the head coach, coaching staff, first team players, youth team players, etc.

With Quang Nam FC dropping out of the tournament, it means that next season's V-League will only have 13 teams participating. Previously, VPF conducted a draw to divide the schedule for 14 teams, so this unexpected change has disrupted everything.

According to research, Quang Nam Club will disband and this team's V-League participation rights will not be transferred to any partners.

To have enough 14 teams participating in V-League 2024-2025, VPF will likely promote the team that finished 2nd in the first division last season, Binh Phuoc Club. If this happens, Cong Phuong's club will be able to participate in V-League despite having just lost to Da Nang in the play-off match.

Currently, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has received a withdrawal request from Quang Nam Club. The VFF Executive Committee will meet soon to plan and then make a decision.

In case Binh Phuoc team is not promoted to replace, V-League 2024-2025 will have an odd number of teams (13 teams). This affects the match schedule and relegation (according to the new regulations, 2 teams will be directly relegated, no play-off).

Quang Nam Club won the 2017 V-League and the 2017 National Super Cup. However, in recent seasons, the Quang Nam team often had to compete for relegation, even being relegated in the 2020 V-League.

Last season, coach Van Sy Son's team stayed in the league in the penultimate round, but they will no longer appear on the map of Vietnamese football from this point on.
