On the afternoon of June 12, Ho Chi Minh City Club and Otsuka Nutraceutical Vietnam Co., Ltd. (ONV) officially announced the implementation of the Japanese Football Dream Project - Pocari Sweat Dream Project 2025.
The project is accompanied by Ho Chi Minh City Club, BMG Football Academy, and sponsored by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group and Tokushima Vortis Club (J-League 2, Japan). This program also has the participation of the assistant coach of the Vietnam team - representative of BMG Academy, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh in the role of Technical Director of the Japan Football Dream project.
"Youth football is not only a place to find talent, but also a place to forge character: Technique can be learned, physical strength can be trained, but ethics and dedication are what make a true player" - Coach Dinh Hong Vinh expressed.

The Japan Football Dream Project is not only a sporting event, but also a testament to the efforts in nurturing the young generation of players, contributing to improving public health and promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan.
From long-term commitments, this project marks the beginning of a sustainable journey, opening up opportunities for young talents aged 13-14 to develop, giving them the opportunity to train in Japan and join the professional training system.

The target audience for this project is young players of Vietnamese nationality, born between August 1, 2010 and August 2, 2012, who are passionate about football and are not bound by any other training contract. The project will accept applications until July 30, 2025.
The project will consist of 3 phases, including: preliminary round - from August 2 to 3 at District 7 Stadium (HCMC); final round on August 10 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau and finally a training trip to Japan in March 2026.
Selected players will have a football "study abroad" trip to Japan, training with Tokushima Vortis Club as well as the opportunity to enter the BMG Football Academy to develop professionally.
This is an important stepping stone for the generation of young Vietnamese players to reach their dream of playing on the international field and wearing the Vietnamese national team jersey.
