5/11 essential goods groups in Lao Cai province have slightly increased prices

According to the price review by the Department of Finance since the beginning of June, out of 11 main consumer goods and services groups, 5 groups have increased in price, 2 groups have decreased in price and 4 groups have remained stable compared to the previous month. CPI in June increased by 1.29%.

Food and catering services group increased by 0.10%.

Specifically, the groups with increased prices include: food and catering services increased by 0.10%; clothing, hats, footwear increased by 0.03%; housing, electricity, water and construction materials increased by 1.46%; transportation increased by 1.17%; culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 0.21%. The groups with decreased prices include: Other goods and services decreased by 0.08%; post and telecommunications group decreased by 0.34%. The groups with stable prices include: Beverages and tobacco; household appliances and equipment; Education .

Construction materials group increased by 1.46%.

Household appliances and equipment groups are kept at stable prices.

The reason for the fluctuation in the market price level of goods and services is determined to be due to the impact of consumer price activities on a number of policies such as: Tightening exploitation activities along with increased resource tax and increased demand for materials, along with increased consumption of electricity, domestic water, gasoline and oil are the main reasons for the increase in the consumer price index.
