After the merger according to Decision 1867/2025/QD-BGDDT, Danang College was born with the combined strength from technology to culture and arts.

Not only changing the name, this is a strategic move to become a multidisciplinary, modern and unique training institution. Mr. Ho Viet Ha - Principal of Danang College discussed the challenges and opportunities to innovate, connect and affirm the position.

- Faced with differences in organizational structure, personnel, finance, and training, what solutions does the school aim for to create internal unity and solidarity?

First of all, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors identified ideological and organizational stability as the key task to overcome difficulties in the initial period after the merger. We regularly organize meetings, conferences, and internal exchanges to listen, share, and promptly resolve problems, creating peace of mind for cadres, lecturers, and staff.

The school arranges management staff in departments, offices, and centers according to the merger project approved by the People's Committee of Da Nang City with the principle of publicity, transparency, and based on the capacity and expertise appropriate to each position. Those with management capacity and experience, regardless of their unit, are considered and weighed to be assigned to the right role, without bias.

On the other hand, the school focuses on the harmonious factor, not allowing one side to "oppress" the other, but instead coordinating and building together. Each unit and department after the merger has representatives from both previous schools. - After the merger, Danang College has two strengths: Technology and Creative Arts. How does the school orient itself to create a generation that is both skilled in the profession and rich in emotions and humanity?

Entering the new school year, with a multi-disciplinary, multi-field college model, we aim to build a comprehensive educational environment, focusing on students and aiming at the harmonious development of moral - intellectual - physical - aesthetic factors.

Regarding ethics, the school focuses on educating students on ideology, lifestyle, industrial style and professional awareness. Integrating these contents through soft skills courses, thematic activities, volunteer activities, career guidance, so that each student not only learns knowledge but also has courage and responsibility to the community.

Regarding intelligence, the school continues to innovate its training program in the direction of closely linking with practice, improving the quality of teaching, increasing the application of technology and techniques in teaching. Expanding cooperation with businesses, production - art - service establishments, creating conditions for students to practice, intern, and gain practical experience right from when they are still in school.

With the characteristics of a vocational education unit that trains in cultural and artistic fields, and now after the merger, the professional team in this field has been further strengthened, Danang College determined that this is a task suitable to its strengths and social responsibility.

In the immediate future, the school will actively incorporate music education, performance skills, and artistic aesthetics into extracurricular activities, clubs, and specialized activities in the school. At the same time, we encourage students from other majors (other than art) to approach and experience art subjects such as musical instruments, singing, dancing, drawing, etc. to develop personal talents and artistic appreciation as part of their comprehensive development.
