Has 6 criminal records, just released from prison and was arrested again for theft of property

On January 16, Tuy Phuoc District Police (Binh Dinh) announced that they had prosecuted and temporarily detained Huynh Bao Linh (44 years old, in Hoa Dong village, Cat Tan commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh) for 2 months to investigate and clarify the act of property theft.

According to initial investigation results, at around 11 p.m. on January 8, Huynh Bao Linh drove a motorbike with license plate 77F5-3059 carrying pliers from his home to Tuy Phuoc District with the intention of stealing property.

When arriving at the pharmacy in Phuoc Loc commune (Tuy Phuoc district), Linh saw that there was no one in the area and the store was locked from the outside, so he used pliers to cut the door lock, went inside and stole property, including: bird's nest, medicine, nutritional supplements, powdered milk, various nutritional products and cash of 257,000 VND.

After stealing, Linh drove the motorbike to carry the above assets home.

When going to Nhon An commune (An Nhon town, Binh Dinh), Linh was checked by An Nhon town police, discovered to have stolen property, so he was detained and handed over to Tuy Phuoc district police for handling.

Huynh Bao Linh has 6 previous convictions for theft of property and was released from prison on December 7, 2023. Linh is currently being prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Son District (Binh Dinh) for receiving property obtained through criminal acts. While waiting for this case to be brought to trial, Linh continues to be prosecuted by Tuy Phuoc District Police for theft of property.
