The city boasts one of the highest rates of returning visitors among Vietnamese destinations, with over 50% of those surveyed stating they had visited before. For this reason, Da Nang has naturally become a highly sought-after destination for the upcoming 4-day National Day holiday on September 2nd.

At the top of the list is Da Nang Downtown (formerly Asia Park) – a new "entertainment paradise" with a host of recently added "blockbuster" experiences.

Da Nang Downtown will treat visitors to a lavish entertainment feast during the Independence Day holiday, centered around a series of world-class shows from afternoon to night, including Awaken River, Vietnamese Puppet Show, Night Adventure, and Symphony of River. The most special show, extending the dazzling fireworks display and becoming a major draw for Da Nang since the summer, is Symphony of River – a multi-experience art show featuring over 100 international artists. This includes many renowned artists, 20 world champions in Jetski and Flyboards, and most impressively, a more than 7-minute fireworks display with spectacular color effects on the river, in the air, and from the wings of the flyboard athletes.

In particular, from August onwards, the final fireworks display has been supplemented with many new types of high-altitude fireworks imported from China – a country known as the "wizard" of fireworks with its ever-changing effects in both shape and color, such as rice stalks, weeping willows, palm branches, or chrysanthemums with colors changing in an instant…

Prior to the Symphony of River show, there are a series of performances such as the "Night Adventure" show featuring international artists and energetic dances. Following that, visitors will be led to the Awaken River extreme sports show, which takes place daily at 5:45 PM. Here, visitors can hold their breath while watching the breathtaking performances of world-class jetski and flyboard athletes, and admire the stunning sunset over the Han River.

While the series of shows by international artists showcase the unique flavors of new art forms, visitors to Da Nang can also explore the flow of Vietnamese culture with the Vietnamese Puppet Show, held at the largest puppet theater in Central Vietnam – Au O Theater, with a capacity of approximately 600 seats. The works performed here combine the art forms of water puppetry and dry puppetry, which are over 1,000 years old, blending folk tales with contemporary elements to depict the beauty of Vietnam and its people.
