(QNgTV) On November 10, 2017, Kon Tum Ward Party Committee will hold the first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Established on the basis of merging 5 wards of Quyet Thang, Quang Trung, Truong Chinh, Thang Loi, Thong Nhat, Kon Tum Ward has a lot of potential and advantages for outstanding development in the coming time. Officials, party members and people of Kon Tum Ward expect that the Congress will lay a strategic foundation for a new development stage, with a larger scale, stature and expectations, meeting the increasingly high requirements of the cause of building and developing the central urban area of western Quang Ngai.
Having been attached to Kon Tum ward for nearly 30 years, Mr. Le Tung Lam has witnessed many miraculous changes in this land through each period. Like many people here, he believes that the policy of implementing a 2-level local government model, along with the first Kon Tum ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030, will open a new development period, worthy of the stature of the central urban area of Western Quang Ngai . Maximizing the potential, advantages, and availability, making close and correct decisions in leadership and direction, in the past term, the 05 predecessor wards after merging into Kon Tum ward have achieved many impressive results. State budget revenue in the ward reached 884 billion VND, average income reached 75 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate decreased to only 0.27%. The economy developed in the right direction, the socio-economic infrastructure was strengthened, helping people have conditions to improve their material and spiritual life. Along with the desire for the state to invest resources in urban development, the people of Kon Tum ward expect that at this congress, the Ward Party Committee will have many breakthrough decisions to bring more job opportunities.
Ms. Y Thanh, in Kon Tum Ko Nam village, Kon Tum ward, said: “As a student and a resident of the ward, I hope that this Congress will propose solutions to solve employment for young people.
