Real estate stocks flourish, VN-Index approaches 1,585 point mark

In the trading session on August 8, the strong profit-taking pressure caused the VN-Index to lose the 1,570-point mark at the end of the morning session. It was not until the end of the afternoon session that the demand returned, in which the real estate stocks recovered and broke out, helping the VN-Index close up 3.14 points to 1,584.95 points at the close.

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: VIC, VPB, GEE, GEX, GAS, VIB, KDH, BSR , VCB, PLX with an increase of 7.06 points. On the other hand, stocks: BID, TCB, HPG, VJC, GVR, VPL, HDB, MBB, LPB, STB were sold heavily and took away more than 5.73 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 47,846.78 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold nearly 834 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, VPB shares were bought the most with a value of more than 225 billion VND, followed by GEX (132 billion VND), CII (125 billion VND), DCM (123 billion VND)... On the contrary, BID was sold the most (216 billion VND), followed by SSI (202 billion VND), HPG (149 billion VND),FPT (134 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 11 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 18 stocks decreasing.

Of which,VIB increased the most by 3.58% to VND20,250/share, followed by PLX increasing by 2.96% to VND38,200/share, VPB increased by 2.07%, VIC increased by 1.74%, GAS increased by 1.59%, SSB increased by 1.52%, DGC increased by 1.13%, SSI increased by 1%.

Codes: MSN, SAB, VCB increased slightly with BCM stopping at reference.

On the other hand: VJC decreased the most when losing 4.86% to 121,500 VND/share, followed by BID down 1.85%, HPG down 1.75%, VRE down 1.64%, GVR down 1.61%, HDB down 1.58%, TCB down 1.43%, LPB down 1.12%, STB down 1.1%, SHB down 1.06%.

The remaining codes: ACB, CTG, FPT, MBB, MWG, TPB, VHM, VNM decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, the steel group closed the session in red, accounting for the majority. Besides HPG mentioned above, TLH decreased by 2.17%, NKG decreased by 1.48%, SMC decreased by 1.12%, HSG, VCA decreased slightly. On the contrary, POM increased to the ceiling price of VND2,600/share, DTL increased by 2.8%, and HMC stopped at the reference price.

The group of securities stocks closed down 0.35%. In addition to SSI mentioned above, TVB decreased by 3%, CTS decreased by 2.56%, FTS decreased by 2.34%, VCI decreased by 2.15%, AGR decreased by 1.09%, HCM decreased by 1.06%, APG, BSI, DSC, TCI, TVS, VDS decreased slightly. On the upside, ORS increased by 4.03% to 12,900 VND/share, VND increased by 1.27%, DSE, VIX increased slightly.

Similarly, the banking group of stocks ended the session down 0.22%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB decreased by 1.48%, MSB, NAB increased slightly, OCB increased by 3.17%.

Real estate stocks improved, closing the session up 0.9%. Of which, strong growth codes such as: HTN, NVT, PDR, TDC hit the ceiling, CCL increased by 3.44%, CKG increased by 4.75%, D2D increased by 3%, DIG increased by 3.4%, DXG increased by 3.88%, DXS increased by 3.29%, ITC increased by 3.28%, KDH increased by 6.02%, TDH increased by 6.65%... On the other hand, KBC decreased by 2.06%, CRE decreased by 1.44%, FIR decreased by 1.68%, SIP decreased by 1.05%, SZC decreased by 1.2%, VRC decreased by 1.54%...

Other stock sectors such as: telecommunications services increased by 4.73%, energy increased by 3.55%, industrial goods increased by 2.08%, utilities increased by 1.14%, insurance, food-beverage and tobacco increased slightly.

On the other hand, transport, raw materials, essential air trade, consumer services, software and services decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained a strong upward momentum throughout the session today, with the VNXALL-Index closing up 49.38 points (+1.88%) to 2,673.64 points. Market liquidity was high, with a trading volume of over 1.362 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND38,640.48 billion. In the entire market, 295 stocks increased in price, 80 stocks remained unchanged, and 90 stocks decreased in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 272.46 points, up 1.60 points (+0.59%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 218.09 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND5,093,391 billion. The entire floor had 92 stocks increasing, 60 stocks remaining unchanged and 78 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 10.19 points (+1.72%) to 602.40 points. Trading volume reached over 168.85 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND4,549,920 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 18 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 9 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 108.54 points, up 0.62 points (+0.57%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 134.98 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 1,474,850 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 202 stocks increasing, 141 stocks remaining unchanged and 120 stocks decreasing.

Notably, in this session, "Newbie" F88 officially traded on UPCoM and increased to the ceiling price of 888,800 VND/share, the code with the highest market price in the whole market.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 3.14 points (+0.2%) to 1,584.95 points. Liquidity reached over 1.857 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND48,955.21 billion. The entire floor had 177 stocks increasing, 51 stocks remaining unchanged and 155 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 5.77 points (-0.33%) to 1,729.08 points. Liquidity reached more than 674.18 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND23,107.46 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 18 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were SSI (over 95.42 million units), VIX (over 52.27 million units), PDR (over 46.93 million units), VND (over 46.26 million units), DIG (over 45.27 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were SVI (6.99%), NVT (6.98%), PVD (6.98%), DPM (6.97%), BIC (6.97%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were MDG (-6.92%), CLW (-6.85%), VSI (-5.19%), VJC (-4.86%), OCB (-4.41%).

* Today's derivatives market had 269,818 contracts traded, worth VND46,412.20 billion.
