Over the course of time, the good cultural values ​​of the family have been formed, refined and developed, becoming a solid spiritual foundation of the nation. These are love for the Fatherland, national pride, love for humanity, loyalty, filial piety and the spirit of learning.

However, in the constant movement of modern society, the negative side of the development process has caused some traditional moral values ​​to degrade. Sad phenomena such as domestic violence, divorce, cohabitation without marriage, or adultery are increasing, causing the beautiful standards that have been preserved for generations to fade away. This poses significant challenges in preserving and promoting the cultural identity of Vietnamese families.

To minimize negative social phenomena, in recent years, the province's functional agencies and departments have increased information and propaganda activities on moral education and family lifestyle. From residential areas, propaganda on moral education and family lifestyle is flexibly integrated with emulation movements, such as: All people unite to build a cultural life; build new rural areas, civilized urban areas; exemplary grandparents and parents, filial children and grandchildren. On International Happiness Day, Vietnamese Family Day, violence prevention, etc., relevant agencies and departments organize rallies, parades and propaganda activities incorporating content related to family work, contributing to raising people's awareness.

With a full awareness of the significance of family ethics education, most people have become more conscious of building and maintaining a warm family. Many family-related clubs have been established, thereby creating a healthy environment for people to meet, exchange and share experiences in building family happiness, raising children, skills in behaving properly with elders, and living in harmony with neighbors.

In particular, for more than 3 years now, the province has widely deployed the Family Code of Conduct to all people. Thanks to that, families and clans have a direction in educating their children and grandchildren to be polite to their elders. The elderly also change their behavior towards their children and grandchildren to be harmonious and suitable for the digital society. These efforts not only contribute to strengthening traditional moral values, but also build a civilized and progressive lifestyle, gradually pushing back social evils, for an increasingly better society.
