Com Hang Than is recognized as "Traditional Craft of Hanoi"

Com Hang Than has long become a specialty of Hanoi .

According to Decision No. 2982, Hanoi recognized 3 titles of "Hanoi Traditional Crafts" for the following occupations: Production of products from green rice in Hang Than street, Nguyen Trung Truc ward and bronze casting in Ngu Xa, Truc Bach ward, Ba Dinh district; Kite making in Ba Duong Noi village, Hong Ha commune, Dan Phuong district.

The Hanoi People's Committee also recognized the title "Hanoi Craft Village" for Van An carpentry village, Son Dong commune, Son Tay town.

Villages recognized with the titles "Hanoi Craft Village" and "Hanoi Traditional Craft" were awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Hanoi People's Committee and supported with 6 million VND.

According to statistics, the city currently has 327 recognized craft villages and traditional craft villages located in 24 districts, towns and cities. Of these, 278 villages have been recognized as Craft Villages and 59 villages have been recognized as Traditional Craft Villages.
