Since mid-August, the Loopsie application has integrated the ability to turn photos into paintings in the style of Japanese animation (anime), causing a stir on Vietnamese social networks.

Facebook and Instagram are flooded with anime-style portraits and landscapes created by Loopsie. The app quickly rose to become the most downloaded app in Vietnam.

Loopsie has been available on iOS and Android since 2018. But it wasn't until the AI craze spread globally that Loopsie's developers began incorporating the feature of turning photos into anime drawings.

However, Loopsie is currently only available for iOS. The Android version has been removed from Google Play for unknown reasons.

According to a security expert, users should be cautious when giving personal photos to service providers. This action has the potential to expose personal data.

This expert recommends that users should not put sensitive, private photos into the app. Because it can be used for many purposes, even fraud, without control.
