Go Dau District Police: Arrested a motorcycle thief

Tien is a person who has just completed his prison sentence on January 20, 2023, but immediately returned to the path of crime. At 1:00 p.m. on April 25, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Huy (56 years old, residing at Lot 2/23A, Rach Son Quarter, Go Dau Town, Go Dau District) parked his motorbike with license plate 70F1-163.79 at the cajuput forest in Phuoc Hoi A Hamlet, Phuoc Thanh Commune, Go Dau District to spray pesticides.

More than an hour later, Mr. Huy saw Tien coming so he asked Tien to bring the water bottle on the motorbike to Mr. Huy. Mr. Huy drank the water and continued spraying pesticides on the rice field. Meanwhile, Tien went to the cajuput forest and saw the key in the motorbike, so she had the idea of stealing the motorbike to sell to get money to buy drugs. Immediately after that, Tien went to the place where she parked the motorbike and started the engine to drive away. Mr. Huy discovered her and shouted but could not catch up.

After stealing the motorbike, Tien drove it to her friend's house in Duong Minh Chau district to play and then mortgaged the motorbike at a pawn shop in Cau Khoi commune, Duong Minh Chau district for 2,500,000 VND. With the money, Tien asked her friend to buy drugs many times to bring home to use together until April 26. When she had spent all the money, Tien walked back home and was discovered by local people who reported her to Hiep Thanh commune police for arrest.

At the police station, Tien admitted her crime. Currently, Go Dau district police are continuing to investigate and handle the case according to the law./.
