Hanoi Police - bridges of trust by Ho Guom Lake

The pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake has recently become a special meeting point for many large-scale activities organized by the Hanoi City Police. From demonstrations of force, skill-building experiences, sports competitions to art programs, the image of the Hanoi police officers emerges as approachable, capable, and dedicated to serving the people.

From the end of 2025 to the first months of 2026, the public relations work of the Hanoi Police Department underwent many innovations, bringing propaganda and experiential activities closer to the people. Notably, the "Festival for a Peaceful Capital" at the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area made a strong impression with a parade and demonstration of force around the lake.

From early morning, large crowds of people gathered on both sides of the road, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the city's police forces. As the mobile police, traffic police, fire and rescue teams passed by to the sound of stirring music, many people used their phones to record this solemn and proud moment.

Beyond simply demonstrating their capabilities, the experiential activities related to fire prevention and control, traffic safety, and high-tech crime prevention also attracted a large number of people, especially young people. Knowledge that would normally be dry was conveyed through visual and engaging methods; the officers diligently guided people on how to use fire extinguishers, experience rescue equipment, and identify safety risks in daily life.

In addition, sports and cultural activities also contribute to deepening the close relationship between the police force and the people. The "Third Intellectual Development Run" held around Ho Guom Lake spread the spirit of health training and community solidarity.

Meanwhile, the art program "Peaceful Hanoi" left many emotions, especially as music , light, and love for the capital city blended together in Hanoi's unique cultural space.

These consecutive activities demonstrate a people-oriented approach to public relations, closely aligned with the rhythm of modern urban life. Through these efforts, the image of Hanoi's police officers is not only associated with maintaining security and order, but also present in community life through their dedication, friendliness, and responsibility.

Continuing this series of meaningful activities, on the morning of May 30th, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, the ceremony to launch the "Peaceful Homeland" video clip creation contest will be held with the participation of numerous delegates, citizens, and digital content creators. The event is expected to further spread positive images of the People's Police force and inspire civic responsibility in building a safe, civilized, and peaceful capital city.
