The delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the Khmer - Vietnam Association in Kandal and Takeo provinces (Kingdom of Cambodia)

Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Director of An Giang Provincial Police Department, presented funding to support the Khmer - Vietnam Association in Takeo and Kandal provinces.

Giving Tet gifts to Vietnamese people living in Cambodia

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen acknowledged the great contributions of the Khmer - Vietnam Association in Cambodia in general and the Khmer - Vietnam Association in Kandal and Takeo provinces in particular. Over the past time, the association has cared for and provided material and spiritual support, and regularly met, visited, and provided practical and effective support to help Cambodians of Vietnamese origin stabilize their lives.

With the tradition of solidarity and friendship, the Director of An Giang Provincial Police hopes that in the coming time, the Khmer - Vietnamese Association of Kandal Province and Takeo will continue to exchange information on the living conditions of the Vietnamese-Cambodian community, unite, support and help each other, continue to foster the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia, to bring benefits to the people of the two countries. At the same time, closely coordinate with Cambodian authorities to propagate and mobilize Vietnamese-Cambodians to strictly comply with the laws of the host country; further strengthen the coordination relationship with the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, the Khmer - Vietnamese General Association and authorities at all levels.

At the New Year greetings, Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Director of the Provincial Police Department, presented gifts worth 100 million VND to each Khmer - Vietnamese Association in Kandal and Takeo provinces. Representatives of the Khmer - Vietnamese Association in Kandal and Takeo provinces expressed their sincere thanks to the Party Committee, Board of Directors and officers and soldiers of the An Giang Provincial Police for their wholehearted support to the Vietnamese-Cambodians and the Khmer - Vietnamese Association in Kandal and Takeo provinces over the past time. In response to such concern, the association will continue to closely coordinate with the An Giang Provincial Government in general and the An Giang Provincial Police in particular to support and help the Vietnamese people in Cambodia stabilize their lives, support and unite to integrate with the host community, and continue to promote and preserve the identity of the Vietnamese people.
