On July 12, Dak Lak Provincial Police organized a launching ceremony for the youth volunteer movement to support the operation of the 2-level local government model and a 30-day peak emulation campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
According to the plan, the Provincial Police will establish 110 youth volunteer teams, with 710 volunteers; including 8 teams at affiliated units and 102 teams at 102 communes and wards, with the implementation period from July to December 2025.
At the provincial level, it is implemented on weekdays, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, at the provincial public administrative units, professional units, and towards the grassroots in the twinned areas. At the commune and ward police level, it is implemented on weekdays, with a peak focus from 8-10am and from 2-4pm.
Youth volunteer teams will participate in sorting and guiding people to carry out administrative procedures according to the process; support people to perform basic operations on public devices; install and use the VNeID application, electronic identification accounts; support people, businesses, organizations, and units to declare and submit periodic electronic reports, and use specialized digital platforms.
At the same time, volunteer teams coordinate to propagate policies on digitalizing public administration at the grassroots level; support online and mobile public services in residential areas and at home when people have needs; communicate, consult, and guide on preventing and combating fraud using technology, identifying and preventing malicious information on cyberspace, etc.
Regarding the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, up to now, the Provincial Police have started construction of 3,942 houses, of which 2,136 houses have been handed over to people for use and 358 houses are being prepared to be built.
Carrying out a 30-day peak emulation campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, units under the Dak Lak Provincial Police set a goal of completing 4,285 houses before August 15, considering this a project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Quang Hieu, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, suggested that union members should further promote the spirit of volunteerism with the motto "Where the people need - There is the police", proactively follow the locality, accompany the authorities at all levels and the people to successfully implement the dual goal of "effective digital transformation and ensuring social security".
At the same time, union members and members stepped up propaganda work, guided people to use online public services and deployed a team to support the issuance and replacement of seals for agencies and administrative units after the merger.
