Previously, on April 23, 2025, through the work of managing the area, Phu Nghia Commune Police discovered a woman about 50 years old, with torn clothes, showing unusual signs, wandering in the area. When approached, the woman only remembered her name as Ut, from Phu Thanh Commune, Tra On District, Vinh Long Province, did not remember her relatives and did not carry any identification papers.

Immediately afterwards, Phu Nghia Commune Police took the woman to the headquarters to verify and clarify her identity. Through checking population data and coordinating with Phu Thanh Commune Police, the woman was identified as Nguyen Thi Ut (born in 1971, residing in Phu Hung Hamlet, Phu Thanh Commune). Ms. Ut has a mental illness and has been lost since September 2024. Since then, her family has been searching for her in many places.
After nearly 7 months of being lost without any information, the Phu Nghia Commune Police verified and found out the identity of Mrs. Ut, helping the family reunite. As soon as he received the notice, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Mrs. Ut's brother quickly went to Phu Nghia Commune Police to pick up his sister. Moved by the dedication and responsibility of the police force, Mr. Hieu wrote a thank you letter to the People's Committee and Phu Nghia Commune Police.
The incident once again affirms the effectiveness of the national population data system in management and identity verification, while spreading the beautiful image of the police force serving the people.
