The rankings are based on the same evaluation criteria as the world's top workplace rankings published annually by prestigious Fortune magazine since 1998.

The 25 companies honored in the 2024 Ranking are divided into 3 categories: 5 large enterprises (over 1,000 employees), 10 medium enterprises (100-999 employees), 10 small enterprises (10-99 employees).

Great Place to Work® has just announced the 25 companies in the Vietnam Top Workplaces 2024 Ranking

This year, the Great Place To Work® survey reached a record high of 125,000 employees, representing the voices of 135,000 employees across the business. 2023 also saw a 150% increase in the number of certified businesses.

With the theme of Great Is Possible, this year, Great Place To Work® honors organizations that have not only achieved Great Place To Work Certification, but have also demonstrated exceptional commitment to building and developing their corporate culture. These organizations have set the gold standard in workplace culture, going beyond what is required for a great workplace certification.

Mr. Roland Wee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Great Place To Work® ASEAN and ANZ, said that in the context of Vietnam's economy forecast to continue to grow in the next 3 years, attracting and retaining talent will be a decisive factor in the competitiveness of businesses operating in the Vietnamese market.

Vietnam is entering a challenging period in terms of its workforce, with the growth of the working population (25-64 years old) expected to peak in 2040, and the elderly population (65 years old and over) expected to double to nearly 17 million people by 2040.

“There are still opportunities for the Vietnamese workforce as China’s working population peaked in 2020 and is expected to decline by nearly 100 million by 2040. In this context of a global manufacturing workforce decline, companies that are able to attract and retain talent will be best positioned,” said Mr. Roland Wee.

The number of companies in Vietnam certified as Great Place To Work has more than tripled in the past three years, and those that have achieved the Best Workplaces™ designation are even more distinctive among the certified group.
