Urgent need from a changing market

For the real estate market, a pillar industry that has the power to spread to more than 40 other industries, systematic and early-oriented human resource training is of great importance. Good training not only enhances the competitiveness of the industry, but also creates a strong spillover effect to the entire economy .

However, the current situation shows that vocational training in Vietnam is still quite far from the set goals. For the real estate sector, formal training activities still mainly focus on theory, little practice, lack of skills training; training from businesses is still fragmented, lacking unified orientation; programs are still fragmented, lacking system and inheritance. Most courses are still fragmented, lacking system and have not created a real connection between theory and practice. Some training facilities are still heavy on theory, light on practice, while many spontaneous training activities from businesses are fragmented, short-term, lacking strategic depth.

In particular, the group of leaders and senior managers, who shape corporate strategies and directly impact market quality, almost lack in-depth, systematic training programs to update knowledge, upgrade skills, and shape leadership thinking according to new standards of the digital age.

As a result, the new workforce has difficulty forming a foundation of specialized knowledge and practical skills. Meanwhile, the senior leadership team has not kept up with the pace of technological change and market development trends. More importantly, professional ethics have not been properly placed in training programs and we also lack mechanisms to connect and spread knowledge between the younger generation and experienced leaders.

This gap has resulted in the market potential not being fully exploited, as well as the human resources, which are the decisive factor in the competitiveness of the industry. Therefore, training human resources, especially senior management human resources, is the bridge between the current market and the long-term vision that real estate enterprises are aiming for.

In the spirit of Resolution 71 on breakthrough in education and training development, the education and training of the real estate industry must also be strongly reformed, ensuring: "Learning goes hand in hand with practice", "Theory is closely linked to practice", "School is closely linked to society". The result of education is not only "skilled and bright-minded" people, but also a team of leaders and managers with vision, professional ethics, and the ability to flexibly adapt to changes in science and technology, capable of leading the Vietnamese real estate market to develop transparently, with strong internal resources and sustainability.

According to Dr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Association (Vnrea), as a prestigious professional social organization, Vnrea always accompanies individuals, businesses, and experts, acting as a bridge - supporting - consulting, promoting career development and improving the operational capacity of members, creating motivation for Vnrea to contribute to building a transparent, professional, and sustainably developing real estate market.

From the spirit of Resolutions 71, 57 and 68, Vnrea has directed VIRES to deploy innovative solutions for vocational training, focusing on building training programs for a team of management and leadership staff with strategic vision, solid professional capacity, standard professional ethics and the ability to flexibly adapt to the new context.

Regarding this issue, Mr. Bui Van Doanh, Director of VIRES, emphasized that real estate development is not just a story of capital and projects. It is a story of knowledge, people, institutions and long-term vision. Without high-quality human resources, there cannot be a sustainable market development. Without strategic thinking, there cannot be leading businesses. And without professionals who truly understand the market, the market will be very vulnerable to fluctuations.

In the new context, when the Vietnamese economy enters a period of strong digital transformation, the market operation model changes rapidly and international standards increasingly dominate, the Vietnamese real estate industry must have a generation of truly solid leaders, administrators and experts, with both a solid scientific foundation and creative thinking and global vision...

Mini MBA Real Estate: Changing mindset to adapt to the new context

The Mini MBA Real Estate training cooperation program "From strategy to implementation - Developing comprehensive leadership thinking" was announced and enrolled students, with the goal of contributing to the professionalization of human resources management for the Vietnamese real estate industry. This is the first senior management training program in Vietnam specifically designed for the real estate industry, based on 3 core strategic axes: Product - Finance - Organization; according to international standards but still carrying the "breath" and "identity" of the domestic market.

Mr. Tran Bao Huy, Chairman of the Propiin Academy's Professional Council and Director of the Mini MBA Program, shared that the goal of the course is to equip managers and leaders with the skills to establish and implement a scientific and sustainable project or business development strategy; assess and manage risks at all stages: legal, financial, marketing, human resources. At the same time, build and lead a team, establish an effective operating system; confidently participate in M&A deals, investments or strategic cooperation. Overall, the manager will think like a true leader, knowing how to connect people, resources and opportunities to create long-term value.

Another important highlight of the training program is that students can immediately apply knowledge to their businesses, improving management and business efficiency. Each training course will take place over 24 weeks with 8 in-depth modules; the learning method combines 4 parallel learning experiences, creating an environment of "learning from reality - practicing while learning".

Students can learn directly, learn through case studies, discuss situations, and role-play decisions with experts. In addition, through conferences and forums with CEOs and successful senior leaders in the industry, students will receive practical knowledge and strategies and learn from their predecessors.

Not only that, to facilitate students to proactively manage their study time, the training program also designs online learning methods with digital learning materials, real-life cases, applied Excel/PPT tools... In addition, students in need can study 1-1 with experts and peer mentors, helping to analyze problems and orient personal strategies.

“The program's goal is to help leaders and senior managers in the industry grasp the entire project development value chain from ideas, legal, finance, products, marketing, and operations. At the same time, develop strategic thinking, decision-making capacity, and leadership in a rapidly changing market context. Through that, train leadership capacity, organizational management, and team development in a new market context. Participants will be updated on technology trends, ESG, proptech, and digital finance, helping businesses adapt and lead change. The Real Estate Mini MBA program also creates a space to connect and build a network of senior leaders, sharing knowledge, opportunities, and cooperation in the Vietnamese real estate ecosystem,” added Mr. Tran Bao Huy.

Sharing the same view, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the School Council, Head of the Faculty of Economic Law, Hanoi Law University, assessed that with correct and practical content, a teaching staff with both practical experience and theoretical foundation, deep understanding of the nature of the real estate market and the role of this field in the economy, the Mini MBA Real Estate training program with the cooperation of VIRES and Propiin will create great spreading value, contributing to creating a new step forward in training and fostering human resources for leaders and senior managers for the real estate market, filling the gaps that were previously lacking.

According to journalist Pham Nguyen Toan, Vice President of Vnrea, the Real Estate Mini MBA Program will become an effective training model for the real estate industry in the coming time, especially for the leadership team, the market leading force. These must be people with high professional qualifications, the ability to adapt to innovation, good ethical standards, both "heart" and "vision" to jointly create a transparent, effectively operated and deeply integrated real estate market.
