On February 5, the Hanoi National University Examination Center informed about the organization of the 2025 High School Student Competency Assessment (HSA) exam.
The Hanoi National University Examination Center said that the project for the 2025 High School Student Assessment (HSA) exam was approved by the Director of Hanoi National University (VNU) in Decision No. 388/QD-VNU dated January 24, 2025.
Accordingly, the candidates are students studying in grade 12 according to the generaleducation program. The time and location of the exam are as follows:

The Hanoi National University Examination Center also reminds high school students to avoid choosing the same HSA exam schedule.
The system will open for candidates to choose the second exam session (if desired) from 9:00 a.m. on March 3, 2025 until 14 days before the official exam date. Candidates choose the exam location on the exam registration system . The exam schedule can be adjusted in accordance with epidemic prevention work (if any).
Candidates can only choose 1 exam session in each exam period. 9:00 a.m., February 23 to 4:30 p.m., March 2. The system will open for candidates to choose a second exam session (if desired) from 9:00 a.m., March 3 until 14 days before the official exam date.
The system allows candidates to register for a maximum of 2 exams per year (as of December 31, 2025). Two consecutive exams must be at least 28 days apart. The exam session will automatically close 14 days before the official exam date.
The exam fee from 2025 is 600,000 VND/candidate/exam. The fee paid is non-refundable for any reason. Candidates read the instructions carefully and consider carefully before paying the fee.
Exam notification will be sent via email and posted on the exam account 7 days before the official exam date.
