Accordingly, in 2023, the total number of tourists to Thanh Hoa province will reach nearly 12.5 million (an increase of 13.1% compared to 2022, reaching 104% of the 2023 plan), of which international tourists will reach 616,200 (2.5 times higher than in 2022, reaching 100.2% of the 2023 plan).

Total tourism revenue reached VND 24,505 billion, up 22.2% compared to 2022, reaching 101.3% of the 2023 plan (international tourists reached: 260 million USD). To achieve the above results, Thanh Hoa tourism industry has constantly innovated, renewed and perfected the province's 3 main product lines including sea tourism, spiritual cultural tourism, and community eco-tourism.
Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Nguyen Hong emphasized that with the spirit of being ready to welcome and serve tourists in 2024, Thanh Hoa tourism industry wishes to widely promote to tourists new destinations, new products, new services, especially typical and unique cultural, sports and tourism events of the province.
