The conference announced the following decisions: Establishment of Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union under the Provincial Federation of Labor from September 5, including 88 grassroots trade unions with a total of 9,030 union members. Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union has legal status, its own seal and account according to regulations; fully performs the functions, tasks and powers according to the regulations of the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union, of the Party and the superior Trade Union.
Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union consists of 15 comrades, the Standing Committee consists of 5 comrades. Comrade Dinh Thi Dao - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Lu Ward was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.
The conference also announced the decision to transfer 88 grassroots trade unions with a total of 9,030 union members to Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union to manage, direct and guide union activities.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, congratulated the Executive Committee of Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union and emphasized that the establishment of the ward trade union is an important milestone marking a new development step of the trade union in the grassroots political system; concretizing the Party and State's policy on streamlining the organizational apparatus according to the 2-level local government model; building an increasingly strong trade union, promoting its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. He requested the ward trade union to closely follow the directives and instructions of all levels to promptly develop working regulations and work programs; propagate and mobilize union members and workers to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies; care for, care for, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; Promote emulation movements associated with local political tasks; focus on developing union members, building strong trade union organizations; continue to innovate content and methods of operation, closely following the goal of "focusing on the grassroots, for workers"...
He expressed his belief that with a high sense of responsibility, dynamism and enthusiasm, Hoa Lu Ward Trade Union will develop more and more. At the same time, he hoped that local leaders would continue to pay attention and create conditions for the trade union to operate effectively and practically, successfully fulfilling the mission of the ward Trade Union towards union members and workers; organizing and concretizing the Party's policies and resolutions in the activities of the Trade Union, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks and targets set out in the Resolution of the Hoa Lu Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
