Announcing the Top 10 Outstanding Students at the 2025 National Artificial Intelligence Olympiad

Recently, at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Institute for Innovation Research and Quality Assessment (RIVA), the Vietnam Association of Information Technology in collaboration with the University of Technology held the Closing Ceremony of the National Artificial Intelligence Olympiad for Students (VOAI) in 2025.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the list of Top 10 excellent candidates of the contest, including: Nguyen Phu Nhan (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang), Nguyen Viet Trung Nhan (High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences , Hanoi National University), Bui Dam Quan (High School for the Gifted in Hanoi National University of Education), Nguyen Huu Tuan (High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences , Hanoi National University), Bui Quang Nguyen (High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences , Hanoi National University), Hoang Cong Bao Long (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang), Nguyen Khac Trung Kien (High School for the Gifted in Hanoi National University of Education), Nguyen Nhat Minh (High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences , Hanoi National University), Vu Dinh Bao Vinh (Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted), Tran Thuan Hieu (Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted).

The Organizing Committee of the Competition said that the best candidates will be selected by the Ministry of Education and Training to form a national team to compete with teams from more than 80 countries around the world to participate in the International Olympiad on Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) in 2025, held in Beijing, China from August 2 to 9, 2025.

The National Artificial Intelligence Olympic Competition for students is held to promote the movement of learning, creative research, improving collective working skills, and international integration of students in the field of artificial intelligence in high schools nationwide.

The contest contributes to discovering and encouraging young talents in the field of artificial intelligence in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, which identifies artificial intelligence as one of the spearheads and breakthroughs.

The competition was launched in April 2025, with nearly 150 high school students nationwide meeting the AI competency standards participating in the preliminary round; the 99 best candidates entered the national final round.
