Quang Ninh Trade Union won the 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Championship

According to the Organizing Committee, in nearly 2 months, 54 football teams nationwide have gone through 4 qualifying rounds in 4 regions to select the 16 best teams to enter the national finals. The tournament has received special attention from leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly , localities, departments, unions, and business units to create a meaningful playground for workers and laborers nationwide.

In the second year of organization, 41 localities participated in the qualifying round, in addition to the Trade Unions and enterprises, all had active activities to prepare for the tournament.

The contestants are increasingly expanding. The playground has attracted workers from the North to the South, from the highlands to the lowlands, from mechanical workers to coal workers, workers from traditional to modern occupations.

In terms of expertise, although not focusing on achievements, the tournament has attracted players who are workers with the best professional qualifications today. That has brought about an extremely attractive match.

Regarding the organization, along with the attention of leaders at all levels, the Organizing Committee and the localities sending teams to participate have taken many forms of care, taking care of the participating athletes to the maximum within their capacity. Especially the supplementary activities, taking care of athletes and fans more substantially such as lucky draws, free health check-ups and consultations throughout the qualifying round to the national finals.

The leaders presented the Cup and congratulated Quang Ninh Trade Union on winning the 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Championship.

In the end, the Quang Ninh Trade Union football team won the 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Championship Cup with a prize of 150 million VND.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee awarded the title of Best Goalkeeper to Bui Thanh Tu (Sacombank Binh Duong); Top scorer to Vo Hoang Phu Qui (Khanh Hoa Trade Union); Best player to Nguyen Minh Duc (Quang Ninh Trade Union).

The Organizing Committee also awarded the Best Referee Team award to the referee team that officiated the final match, namely Hoang Manh Cuong, Le Son Tra and Vu Hoang Son./.
