Dak Nong industry accelerates from the first quarter

In the mining industry, since the beginning of the first quarter of 2025, Dak Nong Aluminum Company - TKV has proposed many competitive solutions determined to achieve production and business targets.

Products of Nhan Co Alumina Factory are currently exported to many countries around the world.

Right from the beginning of the year, the company launched a 90-day production competition movement, with the goal of achieving 185,000 tons of alumina equivalent or more in the first quarter of 2025. Alumina consumption output reached 175,000 tons or more.

During the year, Dak Nong promptly implemented many solutions to remove difficulties in raw material sources to maintain and stabilize production for Nhan Co Alumina Factory.

Along with that, the company has simultaneously applied technological solutions to modernize the alumina production line. Specifically, repairing and upgrading the control system in workshops such as: coal gasification, hydrate calcination, thermal power...

Dak Nong Aluminum Company strives to achieve 185,000 tons of converted alumina or more in the first quarter of 2025

At the same time, the company automated a number of areas and equipment such as: Boiler No. 1, No. 2 of the thermal power plant, 12 gas generators of the Coal Gasification Plant, and hydrate furnace automation.

The company transferred a number of monitoring stations to control auxiliary areas to control and monitor centrally at the central control room of the areas...

The company is coordinating with local authorities to continue to do a good job of compensation and site clearance, preparing a stable and long-term production area.

Similarly, in the processing industry, Thinh Phat Macca Sachi Import Export Trading Company Limited (Gia Nghia) is also accelerating to achieve production goals.

Thinh Phat Macca Sachi Import Export Trading Company Limited is directly exporting dried fruit to the US market.

Company Director Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong informed that in the first 3 months of the year, the company has exported goods directly to the US market twice, with an output of nearly 60 tons of products.

These are the company's main freeze-dried products, including: durian, pineapple, dragon fruit, rambutan, mangosteen...

According to Ms. Huong, 2025 is the first year the company will export goods directly. The most obvious advantage is that the agricultural product consumption market has brighter signals than last year. Because consumers are now mostly looking to use pure fruit products.

If in 2024, the company's total production output only reached 60 tons of all kinds, this year, within the first 3 months of the year, it has already reached this number. It is expected that in 2025, this output will be 2.3 times higher than last year.

Freeze-dried fruit is popular with many consumers.

To create a strong breakthrough, from the beginning of the year, the company invested in freeze-drying equipment with a capacity 5 times higher than the old equipment, with a drying output of 1.5-2 tons/batch.

“This is the largest freeze dryer in the Vietnamese market, used to dry all kinds of fresh fruits and agricultural products. The outstanding advantage is that the products are kept intact, with original color and flavor,” said Ms. Huong.

Remove obstacles

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, Dak Nong's industrial production index (IIP) in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated to increase by 5.89% over the same period in 2024.

In the first quarter of 2025, Dak Nong's industrial production activities were relatively stable. Most industrial products increased compared to the same period.

Dak Nong continues to support and facilitate the stable production of Nhan Co Alumina Factory.

With strong progress since the beginning of 2025, Dak Nong Industry is showing many positive signs to achieve the set growth targets. The synchronous implementation of solutions to overcome difficulties, investment in technological innovation and development of key projects will continue to be the driving force to promote the province's industry.

To ensure sustainable growth, Dak Nong is actively removing obstacles related to mineral planning and power planning VIII.

Once these issues are resolved, the province will have favorable conditions to implement a series of key projects and works, thereby promoting industrial production activities.

Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong province inspected the Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project in mid-March 2025.

Dak Nong continues to support and facilitate the stabilization of production at Nhan Co Alumina Plant. At the same time, the province will provide more effective support so that the investment in the construction of the Aluminum Electrolysis Plant can be completed soon and put into operation at the designed capacity of Phase I. Along with that, the province will urge the acceleration of infrastructure investment in Nhan Co 2 Industrial Park.

The province continues to mobilize capital from domestic and foreign economic sectors to invest in advantageous industries of the province such as: agricultural and forestry processing; mineral exploitation and processing; supporting industries for the development of the bauxite industry, post-aluminum products, etc.

One of Dak Nong’s strategic directions is to promote the development of renewable energy, especially wind and solar power. The province is coordinating with relevant units to remove difficulties in the implementation of wind power projects, ensuring the progress of commercial operation.

Agricultural processing is one of the advantageous industries of Dak Nong.

Developing renewable energy projects not only helps supplement the power supply for industrial production, but also contributes to the province's goal of developing a green and sustainable economy.

Dak Nong’s industry has been growing strongly since the first months of the year. Proactiveness in technological innovation, overcoming difficulties and attracting investment will be important factors helping the province achieve the target of an industrial production index increase of 8% in 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, Dak Nong's mining industry increased by 3.38%; processing and manufacturing industry increased by 5.72%; electricity, gas, hot water, and steam production and distribution industry increased by 6.04%; water supply industry, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 8.79%.
