Recognizing the Diep Pheo Heo tree in the campus of Phu Hoa Secondary School as a Vietnamese heritage tree

(BDO) On the morning of June 15, Phu Hoa Secondary School (Thu Dau Mot City) held a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize the Diep Pheo Heo tree as a Vietnamese heritage tree in the school grounds.

Leaders of the Vietnam Heritage Tree Council presented the Decision to recognize the Diep Pheo Heo tree as a Vietnam heritage tree to the principal of Phu Hoa Secondary School.

The Diep Pheo Heo tree in the Phu Hoa Secondary School campus is nearly 100 years old, over 14m tall, 9m in circumference, about 20m wide, thick trunk, segmented and gray bark, low branches, wide canopy, young branches have many round white holes.

The Diep Pheo Heo tree not only provides a cool, green environment, fresh and airy air, but also has a special meaning as a symbol associated with the school through many generations of teachers and students. Up to now, the tree is being regularly fertilized, growing strongly, green, respected by generations of teachers and students, and is carefully preserved and protected by the school.
