At the seminar on exchanging experiences and replicating typical models and initiatives with the theme "Overcoming difficulties, being creative - improving labor productivity" on the afternoon of October 7, Chairman of the Trade Union of Taekwang Vina Company ( Dong Nai ) Dinh Sy Phuc said that in the process of working directly with machinery and equipment, workers can discover and improve techniques.
The unit calls on workers to be proactive and creative. If they have ideas, they will send them via the mailbox or directly to the union. Workers' opinions will be recorded, and whether they are accepted or not, they will be rewarded with a certain amount of money.
Mr. Phuc said that every week, the unit will review the ideas. Every month, those ideas will be evaluated. Individuals with good ideas will be rewarded monthly, quarterly and annually, at levels of 10-30 million VND.
In 2021, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor launched the program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic".

The initiatives have demonstrated the creativity and intelligence of Vietnamese workers in promptly adapting to living and working conditions in the context of a complicated pandemic and in the new normal period.
Thereby, contributing significantly to stabilizing and restoring production and business activities in enterprises and implementing political tasks of agencies and units.
According to statistics from the online software system, the total value of benefits from these initiatives is estimated at more than 33,000 billion VND.
As of August 31, 2,409,104 initiatives had been submitted to the program, of which 2,033,669 were approved.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Tran Thanh Hai highly appreciated the workers and civil servants - those who directly had initiatives and creativity to participate in the program.
Accordingly, many figures benefiting from initiatives and innovations are very meaningful. There are initiatives that benefit over 500 billion VND, many initiatives that benefit over 100 billion VND, and the number that benefits over 30 billion VND is very high.
According to Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Tran Thanh Hai, another group that contributed to the success of the program was the employers. Accordingly, many employers have had timely reward and incentive policies, thereby creating trust and motivation for employees.
