Strong team in lower division, but can't compare with V-League

At first glance, Binh Phuoc Club today is quite similar to the image of HAGL more than 20 years ago, also investing heavily to aim for a one-step transformation, advancing straight from the first division to the V-League in the shortest time.

However, in essence, the way these two teams select personnel is not the same. More than 20 years ago, the stars who joined HAGL, including Kiatisuk, Chukiat (Thailand), and Nguyen Huu Dang, were all at the peak of their careers, and they were all the greatest talents of Southeast Asian football at that time.

As for now, the stars who joined Binh Phuoc Club at the beginning of the 2024-2025 season, as analyzed, are either not at the top (Tuan Tai, Tan Sinh), or have passed the other side of the slope of their careers (Cong Phuong, Tan Truong, Phi Son).

However, the fact that Binh Phuoc FC has not been promoted has a positive side, helping to test the team's perseverance. At the same time, this helps the domestic football community to monitor and evaluate more fully the patience of the investors in Binh Phuoc FC. In professional football, in addition to the right method and direction, the most important thing is patience.
