Supervisory work of the Front and political organizations

According to the report at the conference, after 2 years of implementing Directive No. 18 dated October 26, 2022 of the Secretariat and Directive No. 37 dated January 18, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, the supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the district to the grassroots level in Hiep Duc has gradually become routine. The number of supervisions is not much, but the content and implementation methods are increasingly strict and focused.

Accordingly, from 2022 to present, at the district level, 22 thematic supervisions and 10 written supervisions have been organized. At the commune level, 87 thematic supervisions have been organized with contents related to various fields.

In addition to the results achieved, the report also pointed out difficulties and limitations in the work of supervision and social criticism. That is, the direction, orientation, program development, and supervision plans are sometimes not proactive, timely, and overlap in content and objects. The quality of supervision is not high, and in some places it is still formal.

After supervision, there was no timely reporting or the recommendations and proposals after supervision were not in-depth and not very convincing; the monitoring and urging to resolve the recommendations were not drastic. The content of supervision on the cultivation and training of ethics and lifestyle of leaders, key officials and cadres and party members was not much, and almost all commune and town levels have not been able to implement it.

Ms. Tran Thi Hang - Standing Deputy Secretary of Hiep Duc District Party Committee said that through the conference, the limitations were analyzed and clarified and solutions and methods were proposed to promote the role and effectiveness of the supervision work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the coming time.
