Tuyen Quang Electricity Company provides stable electricity for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam

Implementing Plan No. 93/KH-UBND, dated May 15, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the 2024 graduation exam in Tuyen Quang province and the direction of the Northern Power Corporation on ensuring electricity for the high school graduation exam and university and vocationaleducation admissions in 2024, Tuyen Quang Power Company has developed a plan to ensure electricity supply during the organization of the high school graduation exam in 2024. At the same time, deploy to the affiliated Power Companies and the Tuyen Quang High Voltage Grid Operation Management Team, organize a review of the entire power grid to promptly detect weak points at risk of causing incidents, high load status of power lines and distribution transformer stations.

To serve the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, Tuyen Quang Power Company has developed a plan to ensure safe, continuous and reliable power supply for the power grid in the province. Along with that, inspect, urge and review the quality of the preparation and implementation of power supply plans of each Power Company, the Tuyen Quang High Voltage Power Grid Operation Management Team. At the same time, no power outages will be implemented from 00:00 on June 26, 2024 to 24:00 on June 29, 2024, except in case of incident handling.

The Company also directed the City Power Company and districts to review the entire power grid to promptly detect weak points at risk of causing incidents, high load conditions of power lines and distribution transformer stations; coordinate with local authorities, police and military to review, develop and deploy security protection plans, fire prevention and safety for power projects and grid operation locations.

At the same time, proactively work with the provincial Department of Education and Training to grasp the time and location to ensure stable and continuous power supply during the exam organization and grading days, and develop additional plans to ensure continuous power supply 24 hours/day during the time the Examination Council's Committees perform their duties. The Company also directs the arrangement of backup generators and generator operators at the exam printing and copying locations, exam locations, and exam grading locations, ready to ensure reliable and stable power supply for the exam in the best way.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Phuong, Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Electricity Company, said that in order to contribute to the success of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in the province, the Company has developed a plan and directed its affiliated units to strengthen incident handling and electrical repairs at mobile operation teams and operation management teams during the exam days.

At the same time, the affiliated Power Companies coordinate with the Steering Committee and the high school exam sites to prepare sufficient supplies, equipment, vehicles, backup generators and have appropriate standby modes to promptly handle incidents, change the operating mode or run the backup generators, and quickly restore power to the exam sites when incidents occur. Arrange standby forces, backup supplies and equipment, fuel, communication systems and means of transportation to ensure timely handling when incidents occur.

Up to this point, the electricity industry has been ensuring technical requirements to provide stable power for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam. In particular, the plans implemented early will help provide safe, stable and continuous power supply to exam sites in the province, contributing significantly to the success of this year's exam.
