By the end of April 2024, Tuyen Quang Electricity Company had installed 254,957 electronic meters of all types out of a total of 280,074 meters operating on the grid, accounting for 91.03%. Remote measurement has been installed at 106/106 measurement points at 110kV transformer stations (online rate reached 100%). All meters in the system will be read automatically and remotely via the computer system to minimize manual meter reading by customers. Thereby, the number of workers reading meter readings will be streamlined, ensuring accuracy in recording and closing electricity consumption indexes and making electricity bills for customers.

In addition, Tuyen Quang Power Company develops smart grid focusing on some main contents. In which, one of the outstanding marks is putting the SCADA/DMS system of the Remote Control Center into operation. Currently, the company has put 7/7 110kV transformer stations into unmanned mode, and connected and remotely controlled the equipment on the medium voltage grid with 142 reclosers and 37 LBS. From the remote control center, it is possible to monitor and supervise the operating modes, perform on/off control, change the working mode of the equipment at 110kV transformer stations and reclosers/LBS on the grid.
