During our recent visit to the Piaggio factory, we had the opportunity to learn more about the production line and assembly of the components that make up the Vespa. In particular, the welding workshop with 3 welding lines and advanced metal spot welding technology ensures the accuracy of the assembly process as well as stability and safety during actual operation. The entire assembly process is carried out with the support of skilled workers and modern machinery, ensuring the engine has the best quality, uniformity when leaving the factory, and the most durable when operating.

In October 2007, Piaggio Vietnam started construction of a factory in Binh Xuyen Industrial Park, operating as a strategic market expansion for the Group in Asia - this is the first Italian enterprise to invest in Vinh Phuc . In 2009, the Piaggio motorbike factory came into operation with a capacity of 250 thousand vehicles/year, producing the iconic Vespa and Piaggio scooters. By 2012, the company expanded its production headquarters, inaugurated an engine factory with advanced technology through increasing the localization rate and export turnover.

Piaggio Vietnam Co., Ltd. was honored in the top 30 typical FDI enterprises at the Golden Dragon Awards 2025.

With the achieved results, Piaggio Vietnam Co., Ltd. received many noble awards such as top 50 typical foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in Vietnam; best workplace in Asia; top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam; certificate of priority enterprise from the General Department of Customs.
