Hon Gai Coal Selection Company met to celebrate its 65th anniversary

On August 16, Hon Gai Coal Selection Company held a meeting to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Company's establishment on August 20 (1960 - 2025).

Hon Gai Coal Selection Company received awards from Quang Ninh province and TKV Group on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Company's establishment.

Over the course of 65 years, from the Hon Gai Ben Enterprise in the difficult years, both producing and fighting amid bombs and bullets of war, to the period of innovation and integration, the Hon Gai Coal Selection Company has continuously grown strongly. Overcoming many challenges of natural disasters, fluctuations in market mechanisms, as well as the pressure of industrialization and modernization, the collective of workers and staff of the Company has always maintained the spirit of "Discipline and Unity" - a precious tradition of coal workers.

If in 1960, coal consumption only reached nearly 900 thousand tons, then up to now, the Company has consumed over 11 million tons per year, contributing more than 22% of the consumption output of the entire Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group. The average income of workers reaches over 13 million VND/month, the material and spiritual life of workers and staff is increasingly improved.

Leaders of Hon Gai Coal Selection Company spoke to review the 65th anniversary of the Company's founding.

At the meeting, delegates, leaders and many generations of workers and cadres reviewed the glorious journey, remembered the merits, sacrifices and great contributions of previous generations. At the same time , they affirmed their determination to continue to inherit and promote the values that have been nurtured over the past 65 years, building the Hon Gai Coal Selection Company to develop more and more sustainably and modernly, becoming a bright spot in the coal industry, contributing significantly to the development of Quang Ninh province and the country.

The anniversary ceremony is not only an occasion to pay tribute to the glorious past, but also a milestone for the Company to look towards the future, with the goal of improving production and business efficiency, promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation, taking better care of workers' lives, linking economic development with environmental protection and green, sustainable development.
