During the launch of the cybersecurity product ecosystem last week, a representative of the Vietnam National Cyber Security Technology Company (NCS) stated that the cybersecurity situation in Vietnam is facing many challenges. From that reality, the company has sought solutions to improve security products to meet the demand.

According to a report by the National Cyber Security Association, 46.15% of agencies and businesses recorded cybersecurity incidents in 2024. It is estimated that more than 659,000 cyber attacks occurred last year.

In fact, 52.89% of organizations in Vietnam are still not fully equipped with technology solutions to respond. At the same time, 56.16% of businesses do not have enough specialized personnel for cybersecurity.

The standout product in the ecosystem is the NCS Next Generation Firewall. This device operates on x86 microprocessor architecture and is accelerated by algorithms. The firewall is capable of controlling the application layer and monitoring connections with bandwidth up to 300 Gbps.

"Traditional firewalls cannot solve the problem. New generation firewalls are the solution," emphasized Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, NCS Technology Director.

Built-in deep packet analysis (DPI) technology allows direct reading and processing without copying the content. This allows the system to process up to tens of millions of packets per second. The firewall has more than 8,500 recognition patterns to detect and prevent attacks.

The NCS TI intelligence platform uses data as a layer of cybersecurity defense. The system is constantly updated from more than 100 sources and standardized by AI engines. Output data includes information on malware, dangerous domains, criminal groups and new attack techniques.

NCS EDR endpoint security solution is designed with an "all-in-one" philosophy. The product integrates antivirus, data loss prevention, data encryption and personal firewall on the same interface.

The NCS SOC monitoring center consists of two main components: NCS SIEM and NCS SOAR. The SIEM system has a processing capacity of up to 540,000 events per second. The platform uses AI and more than 1,300 rules to detect cybersecurity incidents.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Son said the company has updated nearly 300 common hacker attack techniques and trained 12 specialized AI models.

“This increases the ability to identify cybersecurity risks and reduces manual operations,” said NCS CTO.

NCS General Director Vu Duy Hien affirmed that the products in the ecosystem are built in accordance with international and Vietnamese standards. The team of Vietnamese experts has researched, created and mastered the technology, and at the same time received technology transfer from foreign partners.

The NCS cybersecurity product ecosystem aims to help organizations and businesses protect the results of digital transformation. According to Mr. Hien, the solution will contribute to responding to increasingly complex cybersecurity challenges.
