Specifically, the storm collapsed 11 houses, blew off the roofs of 88 houses, and sank a fishing boat in Phu Quoc Special Zone, with no human casualties.
In addition, the storms broke 77 trees, 3 electric poles, and blew off the roofs of 6 brick kilns in the communes of Nhon My, Nui Cam, Rach Gia ward and Phu Quoc Special Zone. The total estimated material damage was over 3.6 billion VND.
The People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones have come to the scene to verify, visit and encourage the affected households. At the same time, they have mobilized the disaster prevention and control force to support people in reinforcing and rebuilding their houses and soon stabilizing their lives.
