The Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety organizes a training course on artificial intelligence and digital transformation

At the training class , Associate Professor, Dr. Le Chi Ngoc , Lecturer of Mathematics and Information Technology , Hanoi University of Science and Technology, providing students with an overview of digital transformation, digital transformation inspired by AI, generative AI (GenAI) and digital assistants. At the training session, Assoc . Prof. Dr. Le Chi Ngoc also provided students with information about the changes in the world in the digital age and Vietnam's timely actions in implementing the national digital transformation program with the goal of developing a digital economy, digital government, and digital society - an important driving force to bring the country into a new era. Accordingly, digital transformation is not only about applying digital innovation but also about changes in the process, culture, and training of teams using digital technologies.

Training on basic knowledge of AI and digital transformation.

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Chi Ngoc mentioned 4 typical digital technologies promoting digital transformation: AI, Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud Computing and especially emphasized the great potential of AI technology and digital transformation applications in supporting work as Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung once emphasized the breakthrough proposal of providing virtual assistants for each civil servant.

At the same time, Associate Professor , Dr. Le Chi Ngoc also introduced popular AI tools today such as ChatGPT, Germini, Claude, DeepSeek, OpenAI... the benefits, strengths and weaknesses of each tool. Some specific examples in using AI tools to support work and specifically in state management of ATBXHN were also given along with notes on how to best use them to effectively support each person's work such as checking the accuracy of information, information sources, how to ask questions...

The training course is organized to Responding to the strategy of the Ministry of Science and Technology on promoting the application of new technology in state management, at the same time helping each cadre , civil servant, public employee, and employee of the Department of Safety and Health to improve their skills in using digital tools, especially AI in their daily work . Thereby contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation./.
